Jemece Gasaway joined the Promises Behavioral Health team in March of 2021 as the director of clinical operations for The Right Step DFW in Euless.
Previously, Jemece was the director of licensing for Behavioral Health Group for the last 12 years. In her role, she was responsible for ensuring local, state and federal licensing compliance and operational readiness for all treatment centers with a focus on medication assistance-based treatments.
Before her time with Behavioral Health Group, Jemece worked in the behavioral healthcare and chemical dependency field via many facets. These include government-funded, abstinence-based residential treatment, privately funded IOP settings, geriatric psych settings, sober living communities, prisons and hospital settings.
Jemece earned an MSW from Louisiana State University where she was a national society of collegiate scholar and alpha delta y social work honor society member. She earned a bachelor’s of science degree from Texas State University.
Jemece’s vast 20+ years of experience in behavioral healthcare has allowed her to have an impact on client care while working directly in the field and behind the scenes in a corporate environment. Regardless of her position, Jemece knows it takes teamwork to provide quality care and create a safe, caring atmosphere. She values the continued opportunity to make an impact on lives daily—not only the lives of her patients, but also the lives of her team members.
