Tanya Stuart, LCSW-BACS, LAC, CCS
Presenter Bio
With more than two decades of counseling and behavioral health leadership experience, Tanya Stuart is a highly respected clinician, educator, and entrepreneur in the fields of mental health and substance abuse treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Her holistic approach focuses on the mind, body, and spirit to help individuals and families achieve long-term healing and emotional wellness. As the co-owner of multiple behavioral health programs throughout Southeast Louisiana, Tanya has dedicated her career to expanding high-quality adolescent mental health and substance abuse services. Family work is both her passion and area of expertise, and she strongly believes that lasting change happens when the entire family system is involved in treatment. “Family counseling is essential to achieving positive, sustainable outcomes for adolescents and their families,” Tanya explains. Known for her work in family systems, trauma-informed care, and adolescent behavioral health, Tanya has helped develop programs that emphasize accountability, connection, resilience, and intensive family involvement. Tanya also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the LSU School of Medicine and previously served as an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Social Work Program at Louisiana State University.
