Presenter Bio
Cherrelle Reed, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, author, speaker, and mental health advocate dedicated to helping individuals heal from trauma, addiction, and life’s most difficult experiences.
Cherrelle earned a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Social Work, combining her education with years of clinical experience serving diverse populations. Throughout her career, she has worked in child welfare, in-home services, dual diagnosis treatment, residential programs, outpatient behavioral health, and correctional health. These experiences have strengthened her understanding of the powerful connection between trauma and addiction and have shaped her holistic approach to healing.
In 2022, Cherrelle fulfilled a lifelong dream by publishing her first book, *The Trauma Within: The Journey Back to Me*, followed by *The Trauma Within: The Journey Back to Me Workbook*, designed to help readers actively apply the principles of healing and recovery.
Committed to creating safe spaces for education and healing, Cherrelle launched the first **Trauma Within Mental Health Conference** in 2024 and successfully hosted its second annual conference in 2025, bringing together professionals, advocates, and community members to promote mental wellness and trauma-informed care.
In 2025, she published her latest book, *I’m Rewriting My Love Story*, encouraging readers to break unhealthy patterns, embrace healing, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Cherrelle’s passion for serving others began in 2014 and continues to grow each year. She is especially dedicated to empowering individuals who feel inadequate, overlooked, or vulnerable, helping them recognize that healing is possible and that their past does not define their future. Through counseling, education, speaking engagements, and community outreach, Cherrelle remains committed to inspiring hope, resilience, and lasting transformation—one life at a time.
